Making

Writing is about knowing what to say, when to say it, and when to stop. I'm still working on that last one.

I build stories…

…that translate specialized knowledge into narratives that people can engage with. My interpretive work appears at museums, science centers, corporate venues, and cultural institutions worldwide.

This site is where I apply those instincts to my own writing. A place to think out loud, test ideas, and develop the work that will eventually become books.

Nonfiction 2026 Project

Words don't cross centuries unchanged. They adapt, mutate, and accumulate meanings their authors never intended.

This book examines closely held ideas as they travel through translation and cultural change, examining how they survive by transforming, and why we rarely notice the shift.

The project combines historical research with narrative momentum to show how written works harden into certainty and continue shaping modern thought. It’s a story about transmission, interpretation, and the very human work of keeping ideas alive.

Abjad - The Translators Challenge

Translation in the 3rd century BCE: no Google, no Chat. Just decoding an unbroken stream of Hebrew consonants by lamplight. Guessing at vowels, wondering where words ended and began. Royal librarians and community leaders breathing down your neck about deadlines. Papyrus cuts.

History as Hologram

This project reimagined how museum audiences engage with complex history. We transformed decades of Kennedy Space Center development into a navigable holographic system. Visitors control time and scale, moving between past and present, choosing their own paths through the material.

Technology serves storytelling, preserving historical depth while meeting contemporary expectations.
